| 21 Aug : ROQ |
|
Assalamualaikum and good day Do you know what is ROQ? What actually happened on this date, 21 Aug? Although we are busy in our daily life task, academic matter, preparing well for this coming Ramadhan, and also Merdeka celebration, we should aware in this issue. We as Muslim should know this.
If you are person who is first time heard about this, you can google it and read about this issue for more information. 21st of August is the Remembrance of Al-Quds’ Day. It is celebrated as a remembrance of the tragedy of the burning of Masjidil Aqsa by the Switzerlander Zionis, Dennis Michael Rohan who was later “diagnosed” to be insane. The tragedy was recorded as the saddest history that ever happened to the Al-Aqsa. That is how the fate of the third most sacred place in Islam after it is intruded by the Israelis, the Terrorist. Judging the Palestinian issue from the ‘Aqidah’s angle, it is reasonable to put the responsibility on every Muslim in the world as Al-Aqsa is the third most sacred land in Islam, even the Muslim’s first Kiblah, the Land of Anbiya’, and the centre of Islamic Administration as recorded in Rasulallah’s hadith. Today, Palestine is in the hand of our enemy, the Zionist (Israelis) who have stole it from the Muslims. As results, the Palestinians today are chased out from their own country, oppressed, kept in prison and even killed. The fate of the Muslims in Palestine needs attention and support from all the Muslims around the globe. As the effort of our care and concern, the Remembrance of Al-Quds (ROQ) is portrayed as the symbol of Muslims solidarity in Malaysia for the Palestinians. Many activities could be run to spread the news on the situation of our brothers and sisters in Palestine and to open the heart of the Muslims in Malaysia to be concern about them. We hope that this program will produce the concerned, generous ummah that will always be prepared with defence and glory as the best Ummah. May Allah s.w.t give strength to those who sacrifices themselves in the name of Allah and Islam. And may Allah s.w.t give strength to those who work hard in defending Islam, the Land, and the holiness, the dignity and the Ummah. Ameen. That’s all. It is just a little information to you. What we can do about this issue?
