LHI, Sunday, 18^th April 2010-The second day event of Ijtimak Sanawi by Rakan Masjid Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) with the the theme’Menggembleng Kebangkitan Perjuangan’ had successfully been organized in a harmony environment.

The event started at 8am after the delegations and observers had their breakfast which had been prepared earlier by the organizing committee.

Mr Muhd Faidhah, as the permanent Chairman started the meeting with the recitation of Al-Fatihah.

The first agenda of the day is the approval on the previous Minute of Meetings (MoM). A few adjustments have been made before it is finally been approved.

The next agenda was to deliberate by all Lajnah of Rakan Masjid on the opening speech (ucapan dasar) by the President of Rakan Masjid, Mr Muhd Akram Bin Ismail on 09/10.  The deliberation was started off by Lajnah Tarbiyyah dan Kepimpinan (LTK) and with the Lajnah Akademik (LAKAD) as the final participants.

A lot of sound suggestions, positive criticisms and practical solutions have been excerpted from the Lajnahs, where members are free to give their opinions and voice out their ideas during the meeting on programs carried out by Rakan Masjid.

The meeting continues after a short tea break with the next agenda on approving the annual report by Mr Muhamad Aizuddin Bin Paiman, the Secreatry and later followed by Mr Zaiyinul Ain Bin Zainal Rafit, the Treasurer to Rakan Masjid. Representatives of the Lajnah continue with the meeting on proposals raised by the members before the meeting breaks for lunch and Zohor prayers.

Mr Muhd Akram Bin Ismail, the President of Rakan Masjid gave his last inspiring speech and in his speech he mentioned that what ever ideas or comments given by the representatives will be looked into accordingly for the sustainability and meaningful of running Rakan Masjid’s programs.

The honorable guest, Ustaz Dawi Cahyono Bin Nurdin gave his speech and advised on the important of the having a true commitment from members so as to ensure the success of the programs and keep up with all the good work that have been carried out by the current committees. As the guest of honor, Ustaz Dawi pronounced the current leadership dissolved and making way for the election of the new leadership MTME 10/11.

Mr Mohd Hafizi Bin Zakria, the newly elected President of Rakan Masjid, gave his maiden speech and among others he mentioned that in his capacity as the President, he will continue the vision sets by the previous leadership in ensuring the coming activities and programs will attract more participants from the students and thus will bring a lot of positive interactions with regards not only to the masjid activities but also to portray the good value in practicing from the holy Quran.

The events ended with the tokens given away to the guest of honor, Ustaz Dawi and the former committee member MTME 09/10.

It is with pure hope and humble request that the Rakan Masjid will always be blessed and gets the strong support from the members and non members in ensuring the vision and mission to be Bi’ah Solehah as to engineer the ummah in the true and right direction in accordance to the Quran and Sunnah.
