UTP,September 2: Rakan Masjid Universiti Teknologi Petronas (RM UTP) in collaboration with Ramadan Discovery 2010 (RD2010) had successfully organized a special Zohor talk entitled “Palestine : Stop the tears” in conjunction with Gaza-In-Heart campaign. It was an honored to have Syeikh Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Siyam as the speaker. A little bit about his background – He was the former Imam of Masjid Al-Aqsa and a Former Rector of University Islam Gaza. The audience for that day consisted mainly students of UTP. Actually, this talk was arranged to expose the hidden things that wasn’t published by the media. Syeikh described the real situation that happened in Gaza. He said that humanitarian aid will be constantly being blocked and filtered at the Rafah opening. He urged the youth to wake up from a long sleep and advised them to be a good servant to Allah the Almighty.  The Palestine issue was a big issue that should be given a great attention especially to the Muslims. The vital points were beautifully elaborated as such it decorates the talk to be a fascinating one. After the long and interesting talk, questions and answer (QnA) session was then took place. Students took the initiative to ask a lot of questions concerning this issue.
