UTP, August7: Persatuan Pelajar Indonesia Universiti Teknologi Petronas (PPIUTP) in collaboration with Lajnah Antarabangsa Rakan Masjid Universiti Teknologi Petronas (RM UTP) had organized a special talk entitled “Tarhib Ramadan” in conjunction with the celebration of the holy month of Ramadan. We were honored to have Ustaz  ,a lecturer from International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM)  as our speaker. There were about 60 audiences which mainly come from Indonesian workers who lived in Batu Gajah and UTP students. The talk was focusing on our preparation for the becoming month Ramadan. The vital points were beautifully elaborated as such it decorates the talk to be a fascinating one. Every word that came from his mouth seems to knock the audiences’ heart. It was such a touched one and made people to reflect about our wrongdoing. He said about the objectives of Tarbiyah Ramadan which are to get unity in feelings, unity in syari’ah and unity in target. Question and answer (QnA) took place after the session come to an end. There were a lot of questions being asked focusing on the issue of fasting (Fiqh Siyam) ; what can we do and what we can’t. The event ended with refreshment called ’bakwan’, Indonesian traditional food.
