Univesiti Teknologi Petronas, 20^th February 2010 – Heart for Islam (h4i) in collaboration with HSE had organized an event called Campus Run or known as ‘Jelajah UTP’. This event had started at 8.00 am and ended at 12.00 pm. The objective of this event is to expose the community on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and strengthen our relationship with others.

            This event was open for everyone in UTP including the school around Tronoh, Perak. The total number of participants for this event is 280. They were divided into three categories which were under 12 years old category for male and female, youth category for male and female and senior staff category for male and female and senior open category for male and female.

            The track for the ‘Jelajah UTP’ is around the UTP campus and it was synonym with the title of the event. At 8.00 am, the entire participant had to register at the counter in front of Annur Mosque. Then, stretch up session was conducted by one of the HSE member. At 9.30, all the participant were released to run around the UTP campus. The start point was in front of      An - Nur Mosque and the finish point was same with the start point. The fastest record time to complete the run at that time was 18 minutes from the youth male category. At 11.00 am, prize-giving ceremony was held in the badminton court. Only first ten runners for each category that reached the finish point will get the prize.

            This event was accomplished successfully and hopes that the event will be conducted continuously.
